Kharkov Regional Mediation Group is a public organization
set up in 1997 as a center on alternative dispute resolution and
an alternative to violence.
Mission
of KhRMG is development of efficient non-violent methods of
dispute resolution in Ukraine, consolidation of the civil society
and building the mechanisms of social partnership.
Kharkov Regional Mediation Group is one of the oganizations of the
Interregional Association of the Mediation Groups of Ukraine, a
voluntary association of public non-profit organizations whose main
activity is alternative dispute resolution.
Kharkov
Regional Mediation Group has its activities in different directions:

development and use of mediation in social and legal conflicts;

educational programs in the field of ADR for higher educational
establishments, non-government and state organizations;

preparation of scientific and methodological base for the development
of the Ukrainian non-government system on alternative non-judicial
dispute resolution;

in social sphere.
Practical
Activity in Dispute Resolution
Since 1998 the employees of KhRMG conducted on a voluntary base:
- 48
cases on the procedure of mediation, 34 of them ended with an
agreement;
- 10
facilitations;
- 14
arbitration cases.
